Sitting with the Gulls at Dundarave

At Dundarave Beach, there’s a bench facing the ocean near the children’s playground. It's just a park bench, surrounded by shrubs where the little beach is enclosed by a wall where the seagulls sit. It's a lovely quiet little spot to take in the view whilst pondering life.

Having lived in West Vancouver since 1982 in three different homes, the Dundarave seawall has been the constant anchor for me - a place for exercise, fresh air, meeting friends, reminiscing, dreaming and a place to sit and be grateful for what we have.
