Rose Garden at University of British Columbia

IMG 5360

I went to UBC for several years earning two degrees there. I biked to the university bringing a packed lunch made by my grandmother. I ate that lunch at the Rose Garden. It was my moment to pause in the day, and proverbially, take the time to smell the flowers. The different roses were blooming. It was quite nice.

In summer, we will get a photo of the garden in its glory. For now, this sole winter survivor will hold the place.

Chosen By:  Robert Gibbens, a podcast enthusiast who still bikes to work everyday. He makes his own packed lunch now.
